Privacy policy regarding the processing of your personal data by WildAI

The WildAI platform of the University of Liège (hereinafter, “WildAI”) collects and processes your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679, hereinafter “GDPR”) and the Law of July 30, 2018, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
Data Controller
WildAI is a service offered by the University of Liège, headquartered at Place du 20-Août, 7, 4000 Liège. The University of Liège is a public institution with two legal entities: on the one hand, it acts as a decentralized body of the French Community of Belgium (0807.970.507) and, on the other hand, as a decentralized and autonomous public institution known as “the University of Liège Heritage” (0325.777.171). It is duly represented by its Rector.

Processing of personal data
WildAI processes your personal data as follows:
- User data management
- Data processed: Surname, first name, email address, technical identifier, name of the user's organisation.
- Purposes: managing user access to the platform; compiling statistics on platform usage and traffic (internal use)
- Legal basis: processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(b))
- Retention period: for as long as the user has an account on the platform.
- Recipients: none.
Rights of the data subject
As provided for in the GDPR (Articles 15 to 23), any data subject may, upon proving their identity, exercise a number of rights:
- to obtain, free of charge, a copy of the personal data concerning them that is being processed by the University of Liège and, where applicable, any available information regarding the purpose, source and intended use of such data;
- to have any inaccurate personal data concerning them rectified free of charge, and to have incomplete data completed;
- to have personal data concerning them erased, subject to the conditions laid down in the regulations and free of charge;
- to obtain, subject to the conditions laid down in the regulations and free of charge, the restriction of the processing of personal data concerning them;
- to obtain, free of charge, the portability of the personal data concerning them and which they have provided to the University of Liège; that is to say, to receive, free of charge, the data in a commonly used, structured format, provided that the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means;
- to object, subject to the conditions laid down by the regulations and free of charge, to the processing of personal data concerning them on grounds relating to their particular situation;
- to withdraw, where applicable and free of charge, their consent to the processing of their personal data;
- submit a complaint to the Data Protection Authority (https://www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be, contact@apd-gba.be).
